Or will you always be using a golf-cart to carry you around the course. If you will need to carry your clubs you are going to want a lighter bag. They come in many different sizes and weights depending on your needs.
Importance of a Proper Grip
The next area of attention after correcting your posture and stance should be your grip. Without a proper grip you will not have a proper follow through on your golf swing.

Slight changes in your grip will mess up the back swing or keep you from executing a smooth back swing. Just a little overextending the grip will mean a poor backhand.
A Simple Method Used to Correct
Some will use this technique to correct some of the problem. Do not raze the club from the ground just pull it back a little from the ball first. One very common mistake in pulling and lifting at the same time which causes and off-center hit. Small corrections like these will improve your game and you confidence quickly. So again pull the club back before your lift on the set up for swing first.
