Ping G2 Driver
The Ping G2 driver is made of titanium; it features an internal weighting system to reduce spin. It launches the ball higher for more distance and accuracy. There are a number of golf tour players that are claiming distance gains of more than 10 plus yards. Most players that have tried it are responding to it very favorably, and like the shape of the driver.
Besides the 460cc version, men and women that have slow speeds can opt for the 400cc 15.5 degree loft version of the Ping G2. The smaller of the two is called G2 EZ slow swing speed men and G2 Ladies.
The major advantage of weighting in each model is done through a variable width sole and some other strategic weight placements. The precision machined face is done at a thin variable thickness provide a greater energy transfer and consistency to give that high performance on off-center hits.
With the 460cc version you will find 4 different lofts available. They come in 7, 8.5, 10 and 11.5 degrees plus three different shaft versions which are (Ping TFC 100D, Aldila NV 65 and Grafalloy ProLaunch 65). The R, S and X flexes provide golfer a number of options to match the shaft and loft characteristics to their swing. You can find the Ping TFC 100D in a Soft R and Ladies flex for the 400cc version.
