Golf Travel Cases: Picking The Right One For You
by John DiMillio
If you're like most golfers, you enjoy traveling with your golf clubs. To protect your clubs while traveling it's important to have the right golf travel case.
Golf travel bags last a long time. So if you make the wrong choice you'll probably be carrying it around for many years. Too big a case means extra weight. Too small means no space for shoes, hat or an extra set of clothes. Golf travel bags come in a variety of colors, sizes and styles to suit every personality. Whether you're a basic black person or want more color in your life there's a color and style for you.
The type of travel you take will determine the type of golf travel case you need. Most airline travelers are best served by a hard sided golf case.
Between shuttles and baggage handling your clubs are going to be tossed and jostled. Baggage handles are struggling with planes at full capacity to unload and reload planes quickly. As a result your clubs are thrown and jostled more than ever.
Hard Case Or Soft Sided Bag?
The exterior of the hard case puts a layer of protection between your clubs and the world of baggage handlers. Inside the hard golf case your clubs are as secure as a baby in a car seat.
Travel mostly by car? Then the soft golf travel case will be tops on your list. Your clubs are protected with a waterproof covering and interior padding whether they are in the trunk of your car or on the hotel's luggage cart.
Soft golf travel bags store easily in the closet or under the bed. So if you're on the road or in a hotel you won't have to worry about storage. A hard golf travel case can be a challenge to conveniently store.
Your travel style will determine the best golf travel case for you. The cases protect your clubs and you may have room to pack your shoes, clothes and hat. Then you're ready to quickly get your clubs out and play a round.
Online shopping is an easy way to find a variety of golf travel bags. No matter your choice, hard golf travel case or soft golf travel bag you'll find one to match your needs and protect your clubs.
Travel and golf are a fantastic combination. Enjoy your travel as you discover new courses. Don't forget to protect your investment in your clubs with a golf travel case.

Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Golf
by Golf Pro
Golf is a sport in which a player hits a ball into each hole on a golf course in the lowest possible number of strokes. Types of clubs including a driver, a putter, and irons
Golf is one of the few ball games that does not use a standardized playing area. The game is played on golf "courses". Each golf course has a unique design and typically consists of either 9 or 18 holes.
Golf is defined this way in the Rules of Golf. "Playing a ball with a club from the teeing ground into the hole by a stroke or successive strokes in accordance with the Rules"
The first game of golf in which records survive was played at Bruntsfield Links, in Edinburgh, Scotland, in A.D. 1456, recorded in the archives of the Edinburgh Burgess Golfing Society, now The Royal Burgess Golfing Society.
The modern game of golf spread from Scotland to England. It has now become a worldwide game. There are golf courses in the majority of affluent countries.
Golf competition may be played as stroke play, in which the individual with the lowest number of strokes is declared the winner. Or as match play with the winner determined by whichever individual or team posts the lower score on the most individual holes during a complete round.
Men and women can be seen everyday on golf courses around the world. Players walk or drive in motorized carts over the course. Singly or in groups of two, three, or four, sometimes accompanied by caddies who carry and manage the players' equipment.

How To Select The Right Golf Gifts For Any Golfer
by Mick Euan Tait
Are you struggling to come up with good golf gift ideas? It is not that hard to come up with some great ideas for golfers as there are so many options. Just think about the golfer and what they would like to receive - you can tell a lot from their personality and tastes. To get you started, here are four of my favorite ideas for golfing gifts.
Practical Golf Gifts
Normally, the safest golf gifts that you can buy are practical ones. Things like golf balls are a good bet. If you can find out which type and brand of golf ball the golfer uses then you could buy a box of the same ones or perhaps buy them more expensive golf balls. Make sure you know the golf ball specifications the golfer likes - high spin, distance, soft feel, etc.
One more idea for practical golf gifts is to buy brand name replacement club head covers. If the golfer uses Cleveland golf clubs, for example, and the head covers are scuffed and worn or just missing or mismatched, then you could buy some Cleveland replacement head covers.
A Personalized Golf Gift
If you want a more unique golf gift, then how about buying Personalized Golf Gifts. There are many options of personalized golf equipment or accessories. The most popular are personalized golf balls, where you can usually have up to three lines of text imprinted on the golf balls of your choice.
Some more golf accessories that can be personalized are embroidered golf shirts, golf towels, and golf caps. You can also find personalized golf bags with two lines of customizable text from the likes of Nike and Callaway Golf.
A Golf Memorabilia Gift
For an exclusive and unusual golf gift there is nothing better than golf memorabilia. You will need to make certain that the item is authentic and certified golf memorabilia. Every autographed product should come with a certificate of authenticity (COA) and a guarantee. You will definitely find that unusual golf gift that any golfer would be thrilled to receive.
Exclusive Corporate Golf Gifts
Most business owners that are also golfers have probably completed some business on the golf course. But have you thought about custom logo golf products; they are a fantastic way to promote your company. Custom logo golf balls are the best value and you can even order them with their own custom logo packaging.
These are my top 4 golf & gifts ideas - there are others which you can check out below. With these ideas, you should be able to find the ideal golf gift - whether it is for a loved one, a friend, or a business associate.
